Polished forest fresh aromas with cool blue and red fruit lead to a brisk attack and juicy mid still palate that then tightens with foreboding tannin and high-toned acidity. I just wish it were a wine Type bit warmer and welcoming as a Graves, but 12 months in barrel - with one third new oak - should soften the edges.

Polished aromas reflect complexity of ripe cool blue fruit with coniferous lift presaging a palate with rather powdery tannins that build over time. The finish is a bit tight and not quite astringent, which worries me. Let's see how the barrel aging will affect the wine, but for now a cautious score.

What I like about this wine is that it is not gooseberry varietal but rather exudes more complex aromatics such as lime blossom and yuzu. Aged in a mix of steel and oak vats, the fruit is clearly expressed and this is a frank success for the 2025 vintage. Light bodied and enjoyable, with some contoured character! Ideal for charcuterie or to get the party started.

A mineral, chalky, fresh nose followed by crips and tangy lemon and lime juice on the palate. Succulent and round, a dollop of almost sweet pineapple followed by a creamy, fresh salty, slate finish. Lovely, mouthwatering and vibrant.

Juicy, creamy, salted caramel, vanilla, less bright and tangy than Doisy-Vedrines before it.
More calm and controlled, a little more spiced with clove, cinnamon, bitter orange and lemon, but still with sweetness in the background. Tension, spice, thickness and acidity, will be nice to see this age. Promising.

Sweet and pure, this has real clarity with a lightly framed core of stone peach fruit and cool baked apple flavours. Lacks a touch of flesh. I like the cool lemon and lime, peach and pear but this isn't super long. It's refined with purity but want more. Ends stony and mineral which is nice.

Salty lime, grapefruit and tangy apricot aromas presage a palate that is not as exuberant as the aromatics suggest, but it has subtle appeal: a wine that could pair well with roast chicken, risotto or even scallops in a cream sauce. A bit attenuated on the finish, and I wish it had more
freshness and lift, but a solid white.

The 2025 Sauvignon sur Calcaire bristles with tension and nerve. Lemon oil, white pepper, chalk slate and crushed rocks abound. This is a very chiseled, bracing expression of Sauvignon Blanc, and yet it is still so expressive of site. Light tropical inflections grace the steely finish. Very classy and airy.

C’est très bon. 100 % sauvignon. Les amateurs de citrons siciliens ou de la côte Amalfitaine s’intéresseront à ce vin.
