Protecting the environment
The companies EARL Denis & Florence Dubourdieu and EARL Pierre & Denis Dubourdieu are members of the Première Association pour le Management Environnemental des Vins de Bordeaux.
This association has been ISO 14001 certified by the AFNOR since 9 June 2011. All our two companies’ sites are covered by the association’s certification. See our AFNOR certificate
Our ISO 14001 environmental initiative involves continually improving the risk management and environmental impact of our business activities. As part of this initiative, we are committed to:
- Maintaining and improving the association’s management system in order to develop our companies’ environmental performance,
- Doing everything in our power to meet the legal and other requirements applicable to our companies,
- Making our employees and partners aware of the importance of the initiative to encourage them to prevent pollution and protect the environment,
- Developing practices that make it possible to reduce the use of plant disease-control products,
- Making organic compost from as much plant waste and as many by-products from our business as possible.
